City Energy Submission DR01: Gas Pipe Replacement Woodlands HDB
📍 Woodlands Crescent | 🏡 HDB
The homeowner of a renovated HDB unit at Woodlands Crescent engaged Homeone for a Gas Pipe Replacement after the existing pipe was found to be damaged. Prioritising safety and compliance, our EMA-licensed gas team was deployed to carry out the replacement in accordance with Singapore’s strict gas safety standards.
The damaged gas pipe was removed and replaced with a new, high-quality pipe for the household’s kitchen stove and add the leak-free gas pipe connection for Gas Water Heater. Our technicians conducted thorough alignment checks and securely fitted the new pipework to guarantee long-term durability and safe operation.

To verify the integrity of the new gas line, a mandatory final pressure test was performed. This confirmed that the system was completely leak-free and safe for use. Upon successful completion, the homeowner was issued a Statement of Gas Appliances Testing Certificate in compliance with the Gas (Supply) Regulations 21. And submit required City Energy Submission DR01 for new gas service connections and for Addition and Alteration (A&A) work on existing residential premises.

Form DR 01 Submission
The submission process is handled by our Licensed Gas Service Worker (LGSW). This submission is important because it is a mandatory legal and safety requirement for obtaining and maintaining a gas supply in Singapore. The submission ensures that all gas installations are safe, comply with regulations, and can be connected to the gas network.
Avoid penalties: Unauthorized gas installation is a serious offense that can result in significant fines or imprisonment. The Form DR 01 Submission is the formal process for seeking and obtaining this authorization.

Conclusion
Engaging unlicensed individuals or companies for regulated gas installation work may not only expose you to significant safety risks but could also void your insurance coverage. Most insurance policies contain general exception clauses that deny claims arising from wilful acts, gross negligence, or the use of unlicensed workers.
To ensure full compliance with City Energy Submission DR01 requirements, safeguard your property, and maintain valid insurance protection, always engage an EMA-Licensed Gas Service Worker. For a safe, compliant, and insurance-aligned gas stove connection, trust Homeone to handle the process professionally from start to finish.
